Timothy Fisher brings four decades of experience in alternative dispute resolution, private practice, law firm management, academic and public service leadership. He serves as a mediator and arbitrator, as well as expert witness in a range of complex litigation matters.
Timothy Fisher worked for thirty-five years in private practice, specializing in construction, family wealth disputes and complex commercial litigation in AmLaw200 firms.
Throughout his career he has also held leadership positions in the field of alternative dispute resolution, serving often as a mediator and arbitrator, as chair of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Section of the Connecticut Bar, and as a frequent advocate in ADR settings.
He was Office Managing Partner of his firm, practice group leader, and has led numerous governmental and professional commissions and task forces.
Following private practice he served as Dean of the University of Connecticut School of Law for seven years, where he is currently Dean and Professor of Law Emeritus.
